Volleyball Recap: Carlinville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Carlinville lost against Highland back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cavaliers fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13.

Ruthie Reels paced Carlinville's offense, picking up five kills. Reels got some help from Rowan Nepute and her 11 assists. Makiah Porteus controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Carlinville now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Highland, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Carlinville will venture away from home to face off against Riverton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Highland, they will welcome Granite City at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
