Baseball Game Preview: Roy Royals vs. Box Elder Bees

For the second straight game, Roy will face off against Box Elder. The Royals will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Bees at 3:00 p.m. Roy is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Roy didn't have quite enough to beat Box Elder and fell 4-3.

For Box Elder's part, Korbin Jeppesen was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Those three RBI gave Jeppesen a new career-high. Bryson Wight was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Roy now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Box Elder, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-10.
