Basketball Recap: Chillicothe Comes Up Short

Chillicothe was the 66-52 winner over Portsmouth when they last played one another back in December of 2014, but their luck changed this time around. The Chillicothe Cavaliers took a 62-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Portsmouth Trojans. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chillicothe's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Portsmouth, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Chillicothe will venture away from home to challenge Hillsboro at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Portsmouth, they will take on Ironton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
