Softball Recap: Pigeon Forge Comes Up Short

Pigeon Forge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Northview Academy Cougars, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Pigeon Forge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Northview Academy, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Pigeon Forge and Northview Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Tigers see the field they'll take on Cosby at 6:00 p.m. on the 6th. As for Northview Academy, their break will end when they face Seymour at 6:00 p.m. on the 6th.
