Soccer Recap: Jones Find Success

Jones's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Pleasanton Eagles. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

The win made it two in a row for Jones and bumps their season record up to 3-2. As for Pleasanton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jones will venture away from home to challenge Floresville at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Pleasanton, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Poteet at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday.
