Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grayville). They took their match on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 85-56 win over the Martinsville Bluestreaks. The Bison pushed the score to 70-45 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bluestreaks had little chance of recovering from.

Leading Grayville to victory were Zach Leavens and Jake Hosman. Leavens posted 39 points, while Hosman dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which Leavens has scored at least a third of Grayville's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ian Kleinschmidt, who had eight points.

Martinsville lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kaiden Simons, who scored 29 points and six rebounds. Those 29 points gave Simons a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Adam Parcel, who earned 14 points and seven boards.

Grayville's victory bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Martinsville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

Grayville has already played their next contest, a 75-46 defeat against Waltonville on the 7th. As for Martinsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 67-21 win against Ramsey on the 7th.
