Basketball Game Preview: Dream City Christian National vs. Pan-American

Dream City Christian National will head out on the road to challenge Pan-American at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Dream City Christian National turned things around against Southern California Academy two weeks ago. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-56 victory over the Rams. Given Dream City Christian National's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 12th in Arizona, while Southern California Academy is ranked 81st in California), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Pan-American waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They had just enough and edged the Eagles out 61-59.

Pan-American's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6. As for Dream City Christian National, their victory bumped their record up to 17-6.
