Soccer Recap: Waseca Comes Up Short

Waseca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-2 to the St. Peter Saints. That's two games in a row now that Waseca have lost by exactly three goals.

Waseca's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for St. Peter, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waseca will face off against Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Peter, they will venture away from home to challenge Mankato East at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
