Grimsley had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Alexandria City Titans.

Leading Grimsley to victory were Claire Dorich and Jasmine Clark. Dorich had seven digs and three aces, while Clark had nine digs and two aces. Those three aces gave Dorich a new career-high. Caroline Pitts also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Grimsley's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Alexandria City, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Grimsley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Decatur on the 29th. As for Alexandria City, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Crestview on the 29th.
