Volleyball Game Preview: Crescenta Valley Falcons vs. Arcadia Apaches

The Crescenta Valley Falcons are taking a road trip to challenge the Arcadia Apaches at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Crescenta Valley made easy work of Burbank and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

While Crescenta Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Arcadia posted their closest victory since September 28, 2024 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Brea Olinda 2-1.

Crescenta Valley's victory bumped their record up to 22-12. As for Arcadia, their win bumped their record up to 18-9.

Everything went Crescenta Valley's way against Arcadia in their previous matchup back in September, as Crescenta Valley made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
