Volleyball Recap: Riverdale Comes Up Short

Riverdale lost against Mineral Point back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chieftains lost 3-0 to the Pointers. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-14.

Mineral Point was led to victory by Ava Ingwell and Sophie Miller. Ingwell had 15 digs and two aces, while Miller had 20 assists and six digs. That's the most digs Ingwell has posted over her last eight matchups.

Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 14-19. As for Mineral Point, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 23 of their last 24 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-4 record this season.

Riverdale will challenge New Lisbon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mineral Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
