Richardson is 9-1 against Berkner since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Richardson will be strutting in after a victory while Berkner will be coming in after a loss.

Richardson took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past MacArthur 57-54. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Cardinals are ranked 476th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Berkner had taken Pearce down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Rams took a hard 62-47 fall against the Mustangs. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Richardson has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points over those games. As for Berkner, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-19.

Richardson came out on top in a nail-biter against Berkner in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, sneaking past 59-57. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
