Basketball Recap: Fairview Find Success

Fairview's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 42-41 photo finish over the Erie Royals. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Fairview's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Erie, their record is now 0-2.

Fairview is taking a road trip to challenge North East at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Erie, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-30 victory against Shady Side Academy on the 14th.
