Mabank came into Tuesday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Scurry-Rosser Wildcats on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since August 31, 2024.

Mabank wouldn't go down easily and took Scurry-Rosser into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-22, 25-14, 22-25, 15-11.

Mabank's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Scurry-Rosser, they moved to 6-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Mabank will be taking part in a tournament against White Oak at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Scurry-Rosser, they will take on Fruitvale in a tournament on Thursday.
