They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Presidio Blue Devils, sneaking past 14-13. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Wildcats' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

As for Presidio, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-15. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games.

For Presidio's part, they got a massive performance out of Leah Vazquez, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Camila Ortega, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
