Basketball Recap: Farrington Comes Up Short

Farrington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Kahuku Red Raiders and fell 76-43. The Governors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-22.

Kahuku's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ka'Imi Dowling, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malaki Soliai-Tui, who put up eight points and nine rebounds.

Farrington's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Kahuku, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Farrington has already played their next match (against McKinley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kahuku will be playing in front of their home fans against Kalani at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
