Baseball Recap: Narragansett Falls Short Against Ranked Barrington

Narragansett faced Barrington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Mariners came up short against the Eagles, falling 12-4. The Mariners just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Narragansett saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Finley Hohl, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Narragansett now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Barrington, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Narragansett will venture away from home to take on Middletown at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Barrington, they will welcome Portsmouth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
