Soccer Recap: Smithfield-Selma Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Smithfield-Selma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 7-1 to the Garner Trojans. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Smithfield-Selma were already down 5-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Cooper Harris, who's now up to four this season.

Smithfield-Selma now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Garner, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4-1.

Smithfield-Selma wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 6-1 win against Southeast Raleigh on the 24th. As for Garner, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Cleveland on the 24th.
