Baseball Recap: Castor Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Castor's offense. They came up short against the Lakeview Gators on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Gators apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Castor dropped their record down to 7-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Lakeview, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-11.

Looking ahead, Castor will venture away from home to face off against Haynesville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakeview, they will host Woodlawn-Shreveport at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.22 runs per game on average), something the Gators will no doubt try to take advantage of.
