Basketball Recap: Battle Creek Academy Takes a Loss

Battle Creek Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jackson Preparatory & Early College Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-16 back in January.

Battle Creek Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Jackson Preparatory & Early College, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Battle Creek Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jackson Preparatory & Early College, they will be taking part in a tournament against North Adams-Jerome at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
