Basketball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Toronto Red Knights, falling 78-44. The Wildcats have struggled against the Red Knights recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Austin Buchanan was a one-man wrecking crew for Toronto as he shot 4-for-7 from long range and dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brady Fair, who posted 14 points in addition to six assists and five steals.

Edison now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Toronto, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Edison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 76-66 victory against Southern on the 10th. As for Toronto, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-45 win against Wellsville on the 10th.
