Volleyball Recap: Davie County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Davie County was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Richmond Senior on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The War Eagles lost 3-0 to the Marvin Ridge Mavericks on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the War Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-8.

Davie County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Marvin Ridge, their win was their 29th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 28-2.

Davie County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marvin Ridge, they will take on North Mecklenburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
