            Lapeer Lakers Homeschool was the  44-26 winner over Kalamazoo HomeSchool when they last played one another  back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lapeer Lakers Homeschool Lakers fell  51-43 to the Kalamazoo HomeSchool Cougars on Saturday.

Despite the  defeat, Lapeer Lakers Homeschool had strong showings from  Aiden Lomasney, who  went 6-for-14  on his way to 16  points, and  John Hayse, who  almost  dropped  a double-double with nine points and 12  boards. Those  12  rebounds gave  Hayse a new career-high.  Reed Cotton was another key player,  putting up ten  points.
 Even though they lost, Lapeer Lakers Homeschool  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive boards. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
