Volleyball Recap: Elizabeth Seton Takes a Loss

Elizabeth Seton lost against Bishop McNamara back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Roadrunners lost 3-0 to the Mustangs. The Roadrunners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 25-12.

Madison Chapman paced Elizabeth Seton's offense, picking up six kills. Chapman got some help from Morgan Battle and her eight assists. Chapman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Bishop McNamara found their leader in sophomore Julia Robinson, who had ten digs and two aces.

Elizabeth Seton's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Bishop McNamara, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Elizabeth Seton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Bishop O'Connell on the 17th. As for Bishop McNamara, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Bishop Ireton on the 17th.
