Softball Recap: Galva Wildcats vs. Biggsville West Central Heat

Galva was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 17-10 walloping at the hands of the Biggsville West Central Heat. That's two games in a row now that Galva has lost by exactly seven runs.

Maddie Bates led a balanced group of hitters, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Ava Anderson was another key contributor, going 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI.

On Biggsville West Central's side, Miley Stimpson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and six unearned) runs off 12 hits (and only one walk).
