Volleyball Recap: Catholic Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Catholic Central lost against Heritage Christian back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers lost 3-0 to the Patriots. The Hilltoppers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13, 25-14.

Catholic Central's offense was headlined by Karley Loos and Macklin Wilson, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Averie Calkins and her 11 assists. Wilson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Heritage Christian found their leader in sophomore Mayah Karcher, who had three digs and two aces.

Catholic Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Heritage Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Catholic Central will head out to challenge Parkview at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Heritage Christian, they will take on Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
