Softball Recap: Cincinnati Christian Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Cincinnati Christian faced off against Blanchester on Wednesday. The Cougars came up short against the Wildcats, falling 13-1.

Cincinnati Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Naomi Updegrove, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Cincinnati Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Blanchester, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-9.

Cincinnati Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blanchester, they will square off against Williamsburg at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Williamsburg will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Blanchester surely won't give up without a fight.
