Basketball Recap: Sylvan Hills Comes Up Short

After flying high against El Dorado on Tuesday, Sylvan Hills came back down to earth. The Bears fell just short of the Alma Airedales by a score of 67-64 on Thursday. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Airedales apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Sylvan Hills' loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sylvan Hills will take on Sheridan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alma, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on De Queen at 7:00 p.m. on December 1.
