Basketball Recap: South Haven Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

South Haven won the last time they faced Argonia and things went their way on Tuesday too. The South Haven Cardinals walked away with a 50-38 victory over the Argonia Raiders. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 51st, while the Raiders are ranked 201st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Haven's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Argonia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.

South Haven will face off against West Elk on Friday. As for Argonia, they will square off against Sedan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
