Basketball Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short

If Greenville was riding high fresh off their 65-41 takedown of Lincolnwood last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Greenville Comets fell 56-43 to the Vandalia Vandals on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vandals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-70 back in January.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Vandalia, their win bumped their record up to 16-12.

Greenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vandalia, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 53-19 loss against Staunton on the 14th.
