Volleyball Recap: Mira Loma Gets the Win

Mira Loma won the last time they faced Marysville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Matadors came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0.

Jeffrey Peikin paced Mira Loma's offense, picking up five kills. Peikin got some help from Abel Caza and his nine assists. Caza was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Mira Loma's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Marysville, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Coincidentally, Mira Loma and Marysville will both be playing River Valley the next time they take the court. The Matadors will head out to face the Falcons at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
