Recap: Sandhills/Thedford Knights vs. Shelton Bulldogs
The Sandhills/Thedford Knights have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were outmatched by Shelton on the road and fell 80-38. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sandhills/Thedford has scored all season.
Shelton had a senior duo take command as Ashton Simmons scored 28 points along with five assists and Riley Bombeck scored 18 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. The match was Simmons' ninth in a row with at least ten points. Ben Myers was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 12 rebounds.
Sandhills/Thedford's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Shelton, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
