Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Arapahoe

Arapahoe entered their tilt with Bertrand on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vikings. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Arapahoe was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13.

Arapahoe found their leader in sophomore Suttyn Shafer, who had five digs and three aces.

Arapahoe was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Bertrand saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Baylee Kipp had 15 digs. Kipp has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Arapahoe's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Bertrand, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arapahoe will face off against Southwest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bertrand, they will challenge Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
