Braden Pyron posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Pyron and Hatley will challenge Baldwyn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bearcats will enter the matchup having just beaten Amory, so the Tigers will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
