Riverton Parke got themselves on the board against Seeger on Monday, but Seeger never followed suit. They blew past the Patriots 12-0. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by ten runs or more this season.
Mya Atkinson was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacee Stonebraker, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
The win (which was Riverton Parke's fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Seeger, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
Coming up, Riverton Parke will challenge North Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seeger, they will face off against Frontier at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for the Patriots and ten for the Falcons.
