Volleyball Recap: Vasquez Comes Up Short

Vasquez was the 3-1 winner over Highland when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs on Saturday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vasquez's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Highland, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Vasquez is on the road again on Saturday to play Knight at 3:00 p.m. Highland will be paying especially close attention to the Mustangs' matchup: after the Mustangs face off against Palmdale, they'll take on Highland again at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
