Chestnut Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers.

Chestnut Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Philipsburg-Osceola, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-9.
