Baseball Game Preview: East vs. Chaney Cowboys

East will challenge the Chaney Cowboys at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, East turned things around against Badger on Monday. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Braves.

The team relied heavily on Abimael Torres, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

East always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Badger only posted an OBP of .333.

Chaney came out on top against Wellsville on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Cowboys took their game against the Tigers 8-4.

East's win bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Chaney, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12.
