Softball Recap: North Takes a Loss

If North was feeling good fresh off their 11-1 takedown of Madison on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rangers lost 15-4 to the Chardon Hilltoppers on Friday. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Hilltoppers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Violet Dichazy was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Giavanna Tirabasso also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

North now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Chardon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1.

Looking ahead, North will head out on the road to take on Riverside at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chardon, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-9 loss against Steele on the 18th.
