Softball Recap: Klein Takes a Loss

Klein was the 1-0 winner over Magnolia West when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Bearkats fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 8-7 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Bearkats have lost by just one run.

Klein's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Magnolia West, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Klein and Magnolia West will both be playing Klein Oak the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will host the Panthers at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Bearkats will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
