Baseball Game Preview: Westmont Warriors vs. Sequoia Ravens

The Westmont Warriors will head out to face off against the Sequoia Ravens at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Saturday, Westmont came up short against Soquel and fell 6-3.

Kainoa Raub was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Sequoia posted their closest win since May 8, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Saint Francis 3-2.

The team relied heavily on Logan Mathias, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Westmont's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Sequoia, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Westmont suffered a grim 10-1 defeat to Sequoia when the teams last played back in March of 2020. Can Westmont avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
