Meanwhile, Bishop Amat faced North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Bishop Amat never let North onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won 12 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Bishop Amat's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-2. As for Cathedral, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
