Soccer Game Preview: Shalom Christian Academy vs. Lancaster Country Day

The Shalom Christian Academy Flames will head out on the road to face off against Lancaster Country Day at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Shalom Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Last Monday, Shalom Christian Academy made easy work of York Country Day and carried off a 5-2 win. It was an even better day for Drake Wenger as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Lancaster Country Day ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Eastern York. Winning may never get old, but Lancaster Country Day sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Shalom Christian Academy now has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for Lancaster Country Day, their win bumped their record up to 10-3-2.
