Baseball Recap: Delaware Valley Takes a Loss

Delaware Valley suffered their biggest defeat since April 22nd on Wednesday. They lost 9-1 to the Nottingham Northstars. If the Terriers were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Northstars when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Delaware Valley has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Nottingham, they pushed their record up to 9-10 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Delaware Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Hackettstown on the 16th. Nottingham has also already played their next game (against Pemberton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
