Basketball Game Preview: Three Lakes Bluejays vs. Phillips Loggers

Three Lakes is 0-3 against Phillips since February of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The Bluejays will challenge the Loggers at 7:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bluejays on Saturday. Three Lakes came up short against Merrill, falling 82-61.

Meanwhile, Phillips had to suffer through a 101-59 loss at the hands of Prentice. The defeat continues a trend for the Loggers in their meetings with the Buccaneers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Phillips' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Three Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Three Lakes couldn't quite get it done against Phillips when the teams last played back in February of 2025 as they fell 67-58. Can the Bluejays avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
