Basketball Game Preview: Breathitt County Bobcats vs. Cabell Midland Knights

The Breathitt County Bobcats will square off against the Cabell Midland Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Breathitt County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Cabell Midland likes a good challenge.

On Wednesday, Breathitt County earned a 65-53 victory over Rowan County.

Meanwhile, Cabell Midland played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 85-63 to Parkersburg.

Breathitt County will have to contain Aidan Ray as he made an impact in Cabell Midland's last game. He posted 19 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Spence, who scored six points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Breathitt County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Cabell Midland, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
