Soccer Game Preview: Filer vs. Buhl

Filer hasn't had much luck against Buhl recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Indians at 5:45 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

On Thursday, Filer earned a 4-2 win over Bliss. Filer haven't had any issues with Bliss recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Buhl sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Snake River on Saturday. That's two games straight that Buhl have won by just one goal.

They hit Snake River with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ulisses Cervantes Estrella (2), Neryk Garcia-Barajas, and Yatziel Gonzalez.

Filer's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Buhl, their win bumped their record up to 5-6-1.

Everything went Filer's way against Buhl in their previous matchup on September 4th, as Filer made off with a 7-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
