Basketball Recap: Two Eagle River Takes a Loss

Two Eagle River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Lincoln Lynx 78-7. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-4.

Layla Tenas was Two Eagle River's leading scorer, having posted four points. Jodessa Dickson held things down on the boards with four rebounds.

Two Eagle River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lincoln, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

After both having extra time off, Two Eagle River and Charlo will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Lincoln, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-10 victory against Alberton on the 21st.
