Kingswood won the last time they faced Stark and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Knights walked away with an 8-5 win over the Generals. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Lexi Maloney spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 11 Ks.

On the hitting side, Caelynn Blattenberger-C was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Ella Smith, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Kingswood's victory bumped their record up to 12-6-1. As for Stark, they dropped their record down to 9-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kingswood is set to challenge their familiar foe Kennett at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Stark will square off against rival Oyster River at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
