Preview: Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks vs. Alcester-Hudson Cubs
The Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks will head out on the road to take on the Alcester-Hudson Cubs on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Thursday, things could have been worse for Tripp-Delmont/Armour, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 63-49 loss to Avon. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tripp-Delmont/Armour in their matchups with Avon: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Alcester-Hudson's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight defeat. They fell 66-53 to Madison.
Tripp-Delmont/Armour's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Alcester-Hudson, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13.
Tripp-Delmont/Armour came out on top in a nail-biter against Alcester-Hudson when the teams last played back in February of 2023, sneaking past 39-37. Does Tripp-Delmont/Armour have another victory up their sleeve, or will Alcester-Hudson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
